From January 1, 2025, the amounts of benefits and pensions in Kazakhstan will be increased due to the revision of the estimated indicators included in the budget for 2025.
Minimum calculation indicators from January 1, 2025:
- Minimum wage: 85,000 tenge (162.8 dollars)
- Minimum state basic pension payment: 32,360 tenge (62 dollars)
- Minimum pension: 62,771 tenge (120.2 dollars)
- Monthly calculation indicator (MCI): 3,932 tenge (7.5 dollars)
- Subsistence minimum for calculating social benefits: 46,228 tenge (88.5 dollars)
From the beginning of 2025, pensions will be indexed by 8.5%, which is provided for in the draft republican budget for the period 2025-2027.
In addition, it is planned to increase social payments from the State Social Insurance Fund for cases of loss of ability to work and loss of a breadwinner, assigned before January 1, 2025.
These payments will be increased by 6.5% of their current amount.
