On July 14, 2025, the Head of State signed the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Mandatory Social Health Insurance and the Provision of Medical Services”.

This Law amends and adds to the Law “On Mandatory Social Health Insurance”, according to which the upper limit for calculating employer contributions to the mandatorysocial health insurance is set at 40 minimum wages, and for calculating employee contributions to the mandatorysocial health insurance – up to 20 minimum wages.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2026.
