Vasiliy Nikitin, Audit Partner at Moore Kazakhstan, delivered an open lecture for students of the Accounting and Audit program at Almaty Management University.
The session was held as part of the partnership between AlmaU and Moore Kazakhstan and focused on the practical application of IAS 12 Income Taxes.
Students had the opportunity to see how the standard is applied in Kazakhstani practice, including:
- practical tips to avoid errors when calculating deferred taxes;
- analysis of the most common real-life examples;
- insights from an expert with extensive audit experience.
This collaboration helps future professionals develop skills that are in demand today and will remain valuable in the years ahead.
