The Head of State has signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Republican Budget for 2026-2028,” which establishes the key calculatory indicators for 2026.

According to the document, effective from January 1, 2026, the following values are set:

  • Minimum monthly salary – 85,000 tenge (unchanged);
  • Monthly calculation index (MCI) – 4,325 tenge (2025 – 3,932 tenge);
  • Minimum basic state pension payment – 35,596 tenge (2025 – 32,360 tenge);
  • Minimum pension amount – 69,049 tenge (2025 – 62,771 tenge);
  • Subsistence minimum – 50,851 tenge (2025 – 46,228 tenge).

The Law also stipulates that funds allocated for age and length-of-service pension payments are provided with a 10% increase.

Additionally, the rate of state contributions to the Mandatory Social Health Insurance (MSHI) is set at 2% of the assessment base.

The Law enters into force on January 1, 2026.
