Moore Kazakhstan, in partnership with the AYALA Charity Foundation, has participated in a project to provide modern medical equipment to the Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 2.
As part of the initiative, a bilirubinometer and a surgical aspirator were donated to the medical institution — equipment used in the care of newborns from the first minutes of life.
Each year, approximately 3,000 babies are born at the hospital, which also provides medical care to women and children from seven districts of the Akmola region. In the context of an increasing number of complicated pregnancies and deliveries, access to modern medical equipment is becoming critically important for timely diagnosis and care.
The bilirubinometer enables fast, safe, and non-invasive bilirubin level testing in newborns, which is essential for the early detection of neonatal jaundice and prevention of potential complications.
The surgical aspirator plays a vital role in the first minutes of a baby’s life, helping gently clear the newborn’s airways of amniotic fluid, mucus, and other secretions that may obstruct breathing. It is especially important in complicated deliveries and preterm births.
Supporting healthcare institutions with modern medical equipment remains an important part of AYALA Foundation’s systematic work aimed at improving newborn health outcomes and ensuring access to quality medical care across the regions.
At Moore Kazakhstan, we are committed to supporting social initiatives that contribute to improving children’s health and well-being.
