The Moore Eurasia Regional Conference 2026, hosted by Moore Kazakhstan, took place in Astana from 25 to 27 September 2026, bringing together around 70 partners and leaders from Moore Global member firms across Eurasia.
The conference welcomed participants from 12 countries: Kazakhstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Lithuania, Armenia, Romania and Moldova, Mongolia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Over three days, participants discussed topics shaping the future of audit and professional services, including artificial intelligence and technology, leadership, international cooperation and Kazakhstan’s opportunities for international investors.
The programme provided an opportunity for colleagues from across the region to exchange experience, share perspectives and strengthen professional connections.
Arturo Fortun, Director of Quality Monitoring at Moore Global, led practical sessions on audit risk, ISA 315 and ISA 330, audit responses, and practical case studies.
Peter Verschelden, Executive Chairman of Moore Belgium, shared his experience of building high-value advisory services in a mid-sized firm during his session, “Building High-Value Advisory Services.”
Jeff Blackbeard, Chief Growth Officer at Moore Global, outlined his perspective on the development of the network and opportunities for regional firms to grow and collaborate internationally during his session, “Moore Global Growth & Regional Outlook.”
Mago J. B. Singh, Founder and Principal of Moore JFC Group, explored “International Client Growth & Collaboration Across the Moore Network” – a particularly relevant topic as we look for more opportunities to work together across our region and with other Moore firms.
Ariunaa Jargalsaikhan, CEO of Moore Mongolia, introduced the firm, outlining its history, key areas of expertise and activities in the Mongolian market.
Vladimir Savov, Chief Markets Officer at the Astana International Financial Centre, provided an overview of the opportunities the AIFC offers to international companies and investors and how it can support cross-border business in our region during his session, “AIFC as a Regional Platform for International Business and Investment.”
The true value of such events lies in open dialogue, strong relationships and finding practical ways to work together.
Alongside the business programme, guests had the opportunity to experience Astana and learn more about the culture of Kazakhstan through cultural activities.
We sincerely thank all the speakers for sharing their expertise and every participant for their active engagement, openness and inspiring energy.
